This June Marks Sunshine Month: WAXON Waxbar Launches Fundraising Efforts

Following a year of national expansion, from two locations in Toronto to five across Canada, WAXON Waxbar is launching its first charitable initiative partnering with Project Sunshine Canada. All Toronto WAXON Waxbar locations will accept donations and match the donations from the customers to Project Sunshine Canada, from June 1st to June 30th. From arts and crafts to special events and book buddies, Project Sunshine Canada brings fun and wellness to children in ten health facilities across Canada including The Hospital for Sick Children, Mount Sinai Hospital, North York General Hospital and Montreal Children’s Hospital. Lexi Miles, Founder of WAXON Waxbar says:

“I have volunteered my time in the past for Project Sunshine Canada, and as a business we’re excited to raise funds for a worthy cause close to my heart. Children and their families deserve all the support possible during health challenges, so we are excited to challenge WAXON clients to double our fundraising contributions during Sunshine Month!”

As WAXON continues to expand, Sunshine Month marks WAXON Waxbar’s first of many corporate social responsibility initiatives to come, choosing causes important to the brand and its clients. WAXON Waxbar’s Founder Lexi Miles comes from a background in management consulting, and has always been keen to give back through her business since becoming a beauty entrepreneur. 100% of all client donations go directly to Project Sunshine Canada

WAXON Waxbar is a high-end, trendy waxbar concept founded in Toronto by beauty entrepreneur Lexi Miles. Identifying the need for a high-end, convenient, yet stylish wax experience, Miles launched the flagship Summerhill store in 2012, and has since opened Toronto locations in the PATH, Bloor West Village, and Queen East. Most recently, Miles opened a WAXON location in Halifax. From seamless online and phone bookings to walk-in appointments, WAXON Waxbar promises a virtually painless wax experience and flawless results every time by their Waxologists, who are all certified estheticians trained the WAXON Way. waxon.ca
