The Knot Group (TKG) announced today their international expansion into the US and Latin American market with representatives in Public Relations and Event Management based out of New York City. The move into these new markets comes on the heels of TKG’s recent Canada-wide services expansion in early 2015, after appointing incoming partner Hilary Bonebakker to manage their specialized Event Management division and subsequently undergoing a company-wide rebrand. TKG’s phased expansion is a direct response to increasing opportunities they have identified in the Canadian market and the commitment to provide top-level service for their clients on a full-service scale, both in Canada and abroad.
Since rebranding as The Knot Group this past February, partners Amy Burstyn-Fritz, Tatiana Read, and Hilary Bonebakker have seen great success with TKG’s new Event Management division, planning and executing large scale events for lifestyle and corporate clients such as Birks, Town Shoes, Toronto Life, Generation Capital Limited and Burgundy Asset Management. TKG has also continued to see growth with their PR division, signing new national clients Birks and Purdys Chocolatier.

On the ground in New York City, TKG has secured Events Director Erika Mercado and PR Director Kara Hughett, to oversee the US operations. Together Mercado and Hughett bring over 20 years experience working in the US and Mexico.
